He has been involved in several community organizations and groups, including Parks and Recreation, Legion, Golf Club and Church Board to name a few. Both sons have both chosen Langenburg as their homes. Cory, Lana and Jake; and Jamie, Melissa, Emery, Boston and Kate give Grandpa and Grandma the chance to be at the many events and activities of their four grandchildren.
In January Brian was honoured to be selected as one of the recipients of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan) for Volunteerism.
Brian has recently been appointed to the local Housing Authority, and is looking forward to learning and growing in his new role as a member of the FFF Board.
