Chairperson
Michelle was born and raised in Spy Hill, Saskatchewan. Michelle and her husband, Tyler have been married for twenty two years and have 3 children Rhett, Seth, and Marley. They have lived in Langenburg since 2000.
Michelle worked in Economic Development field for over 10 years between the Yellowhead REDA and the Saskatchewan East Enterprise Region. When the government finalized their funding of the Regional Economic Development ventures, Michelle became employed at Langenburg Motors. She has worked there over the past 13 years and is the Controller. Her work in the economic development field contributed to the understanding of the involvement needs of volunteers and community investment. Michelle currently sits on the Langenburg Minor Hockey Association and Langenburg Central School Community Council. Michelle was also part of the Langenburg & District Daycare Co-operative board and was Co-Chair of the Langenburg & District New School Committee.
Tyler & Michelle enjoy spending their time at the children’s sporting and extracurricular events and spend as much time as possible at their family cabin at Carlton Trail Regional Park.

Roly Schappert
Roland (Roly) Schappert has recently retired from his grain farm and alfalfa seed growing operation NE of Langenburg. Roly’s past accomplishments over the years included owner/Manager of local grocery store, and then a gravel business; he also worked as a farm machinery salesman.
He has served on various boards such as the RM and Church Council and is presently involved with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank GrowHope Program. He was also a volunteer Fireman on the local Fire Department for 30 years. Roly is married to Cindy who has recently retired from the Health Region. Together they raised 2 children, a son who is an Engineer in BC and is married with two children; and a daughter who is a Nurse and currently resides in Langenburg. Roly and his wife still reside on their farm and Roly plans on making hay in the summer months and in his spare time he likes to work in his greenhouse and tend to his yard and fruit trees. He and his wife enjoy their winter getaways, fishing, and going to BC to see their grand kids.
Roly is enthusiastic about continuous learning and looks forward to being part of the Family and Friends Foundation.

Janessa Liepert
Janessa grew up in Churchbridge and after graduation headed to Saskatoon where she completed her Massage Therapy diploma. She started her massage career in Nipawin where she lived for 11 years before returning home in 2011 when she married her husband, Daniel Liepert. They currently reside on her family farm northeast of Churchbridge.
Janessa is a Loans Officer at Churchbridge Credit Union and has been in the credit union system for 14 years. She is a member of the Churchbridge Lioness and is very active in their Chase the Ace fundraiser. Janessa served as a member of Town Council in Churchbridge for 3 years until she moved to the farm. She orders and places the hanging flower baskets in Churchbridge and was an integral member of the group who brought the Bark Park to Churchbridge. Currently she is the secretary for Churchbridge Golf Course Inc. Janessa is new to the Family and Friends foundation and looks forward to creating awareness of the fund.

Alex Witzke
Alex was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up in a military family that involved several moves to bases across Canada. Alex and wife Kellie have been married for almost twenty years and have 2 wonderful children, Gabriel and Autumn. They moved to the area in 2010 and to Langenburg in 2015. Alex is currently a dentist in Russell, Manitoba, where he has been practicing for over 14 years, however he has been coming to the area to fish for over 30, which was a large part in the decision to move here and take over the practice. In their off-time Kellie and Alex enjoy fishing, skiing, curling, and watching their children take part in the wonderful local sports programs such as baseball, karate and cheerleading.

Elliana Margarit
Elliana and her family, (her husband Dan and two sons, Alex and Michael) moved from Romania to Churchbridge, Saskatchewan in 2005. Elliana has a Bachelor Degree in Bussiness Management and has worked as a Financial Analyst before moving to Canada. In 2007 she was employed by Churchbridge Credit Union as a Casual Member Service Representative and has worked in all three branches, Churchbridge, Langenburg and MacNutt. Since then she has continued to grow in the organization, and now she is a Business Lender in Langenburg Branch.
She likes spending time with family and friends, gardening, hunting, reading, and she is never bored.
Elliana has been involved in numerous volunteering activities through the Churchbridge Lioness Club (until 2022) and Churchbridge Credit Union. In 2022 she has joined the Pink and Chocolate committee and enjoyed being part of such a wonderful group of people dedicated to raise funds for cancer. Elliana is new to Family and Friends Foundation and is very excited to learn more and be an active part of this organization.

Jami was born and raised in Langenburg, Saskatchewan and has a small town heart. She is married to her husband, Cory Andres from the MacNutt, Saskatchewan for 27 years and they were blessed with one daughter, Karlee who also resides in Langenburg as a teacher at Langenburg Central School.
Jami graduated from Langenburg High School then completed her Commercial Floristry Diploma at Olds College. After completing college Jami gained business experience working with her parents for 5 years in their Case IH Farm Machinery Dealership then starting Kadaizy, a flower & gift shop with her mom, Cherryl. Jami chose to raise her family in the community she loved which was filled with opportunities. Jami has always enjoyed volunteering in her community and received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan) for Volunteerism. An award she will always be proud of!
Jami’s parents, Warren & Cherryl Kotzer were an inaugural part in starting the Family & Friends Community Foundation 23 years ago. She has learned from discussions with her parents about the foundation and has always had an interest and has advocated the importance of this in our communities. She looks forward to being a part of this successful foundation.

Fallon Prince
Fallon Prince grew up outside of Churchbridge on an acreage, and after attending the UofR for Education, she returned to the area where she continues to be a country dweller. She has been a teacher and administrator at Langenburg Central School for 20 years. Within the community, she’s been involved as a board member on the Langenburg Arts Council for around 15 years and has taken part in many arts endeavours in the community such as dinner theaters, musicals, and school drama productions. She’s also involved in leadership and student council, taking students to national and provincial conferences as well as hosting a provincial conference at LCS in 2016. Fallon is a mom to two boys, and along with her partner Terry, spends many hours at rinks, pitches, and fields. Fallon has been a previous board member on FFF for six years and is excited to be back with the foundation.

Brian has been retired for eight years, having worked 40+ years at IMC / Mosaic Potash mines. He has
been involved in several community organizations and groups, including Parks and Recreation, Legion,
Golf Club, Housing Authority and Church Board to name a few. Brian was quite active with their sons’
activities spending much time coaching and managing minor hockey and ball teams.
In January, 2023 Brian was honoured to be selected as one of the recipients of the Queen Elizabeth II
Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan) for Volunteerism.
Brian and Tammy enjoy the lifestyle afforded by small town Saskatchewan. Both sons have both chosen
Langenburg as their homes. Cory, Lana and Jake; and Jamie, Melissa, Emery, Boston and Kate give
Grandpa and Grandma the chance to be at the many events and activities of their four grandchildren.

Megan has called the area near Langenburg home since 2015. A proud wife and mother of two, she finds joy in supporting her daughters through their various activities, while also cherishing family time. Megan convocated from university with a Business Degree, majoring in Accounting, and took a bold step in 2021 when she purchased a small accounting firm. Balancing her professional ambitions with family life, Megan enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and relaxing at the lake. She is passionate about helping others through her work while creating lasting memories with her family.

Program Administrator
Jill Faul grew up on an acreage outside of Langenburg. She acquired her degree in political science from the University of Saskatchewan and worked in marketing and communications for 10 years. She briefly ran her own clothing store in Langenburg for five years before taking on a full time role on her husband, Ashley’s fifth generation family farm. Jill and Ashley have a mixed cattle and grain farm outside of Spy Hill, Sk with their two children, Lily and Hunter.
Jill is looking forward to working with the Family and Friends Community Foundation to continue to grow and foster community partnerships.
