Alyssa Thompson Memorial Fund

Family and Friends Community Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of the Alyssa Thompson Memorial Fund, in Memory of Alyssa Thompson who tragically passed away December 2025.

“Alyssa was a huge personality. She was very vocal about anything she cared about. She found her calling in healthcare and is truly missed by her family, residents, fellow staff and anyone who knew her. Losing her has left a large hole in many lives”, says her family.

Alyssa’s family chose to create this fund in her name because Alyssa believed in educating yourself and being accountable for your own health. They are delighted to begin a legacy fund in her name to promote health education in Churchbridge, Langenburg and Spy Hill.

Alyssa’s fund will be designated to health education for example, time slip programs (creating engagement through high school students and residents), health expos, holistic healer education, health related public speakers in the schools, and community baby showers through public health.
